A soft, chunky knit cat mat, handmade from merino wool. It's a flexible mat rather than a structured bed, so you can put it on the floor, in a basket, on a shelf or on the sofa. Wool is breathable and naturally helps regulate temperature, so it's comfortable all year round.

Care and safety
- Spot-clean, or hand wash gently in cool water with a mild wool detergent.
- Reshape while damp and dry flat. Do not machine wash, wring or tumble dry.
- Check occasionally for loose loops, as cats may catch their claws.

Is it a bed?
It's a soft mat. Many cats sleep on it as it is, and it also makes any basket or box extra cosy.
Will it keep my cat warm?
Wool traps warmth in cooler months and stays breathable when it's warmer.
Can my cat scratch it?
Some cats knead or scratch. If a claw catches a loop, gently ease the loop back into place.

For cats, not a children's toy. Always supervise play, especially with wands, strings, feathers and small parts. Put wand toys away out of reach after playtime. Check toys regularly and remove any that become worn or damaged.
Care: spot clean with a damp cloth and let air dry. To refresh herb toys, store them in a sealed jar with a pinch of dried catnip or valerian.

Because the delivery suffered some delays, Amy was so incredibly caring that she emailed me as soon as possible to apologise and suggest solutions to the issue. She then insisted to make up for the delay by sending a surprise gift in the form of some wonderful woollen toys. The Katzenmatte and the toys are an ABSOLUTE DELIGHT! 😻😻😻 So beautiful they are that my husband and I are not sure who loves them more, me and him or Mr. Orange Fluff himself 🤩😻😆
